Water Shares
All developments within South Jordan City boundaries shall be required to obtain and transfer to the City 2.2 acre-feet of water for each acre or part thereof to be subdivided or developed by the sub divider or owner. Such shares shall be in canal or irrigation companies acceptable to the City or in the alternative, the City may, at its discretion, accept cash in lieu of said irrigation shares which cash payment in lieu of share shall be set by the City Council.
