Public Ice Skating Information
Hours and Pricing:
Ice Skates rentals will be available for the public inside the
Warming Hut adjacent to the South Jordan Ice Rink at 1600 West Towne Center.
Dates: Saturday December 5 - March 20 (Dates are subject to change due to weather and conditions)
Warming Hut Hours: The Warming Hut adjacent to the Ice Rink will be open Monday - Saturday 10 AM - 10 PM
Times and Days Ice Skate Rentals are available:
Monday-Friday 6-8 PM
Saturdays 3-5 PM
*Christmas Eve hours 3-5 PM
*Skate rentals will not be available Christmas Day
Pricing:
Effective January 1, 2010, all skate rentals are $1.00 per day
Overnight rental will be an additional $1.00 fee per rental and skates will need to be returned to the warming hut the following day during rental hours.
Group reservation rentals are available for groups of 15 or more will be $1.00 per person (Groups must turn in a group rental form at least 48 hours in advance)
*We can only accept cash or check. Skates are First Come First Served.
Skates are in Men’s Sizes. (For female sizes, please add one size from your regular shoe size to get your ice skate size).
If you need to use ice skates while Ice Skate rental hours are not available, please visit the rental office the day before during rental hours to pick skates up and return them the next day during the hours ice skate rentals are available (unless it is Saturday, and then the skates will be due back on Monday).
All skates are due the next day unless it is Saturday then they are due on Monday. Please note that for each 24 hour period skates are not returned, an additional rental fee will be applied.

Recreation now offers group Learn to Skate classes. Ice Skating is a great winter activity for all to enjoy! Sign-up today, class sizes are limited.
Registration Information:
REGISTRATION: Begins November 10th
WHO: Skaters of all skill levels Ages 3-Adult. Tots, Beginners,
Intermediate, and Advanced lessons will be offered.
WHEN: Lessons will held Saturdays starting December 5
and going through March 20 (weather permitting).
Tots: 12:00 PM to 12:25 PM
Beginners: 12:30 AM to 12:55 PM
Intermediate: 1:00 PM to 1:25PM
Advanced: 1:30 PM to 1:55 PM
WHERE: Ice Rink located at 1600 West Towne Center

Plaza Rules
- All South Jordan City Park Rules Apply To This Plaza.
- Skate Boarding and In Line Skating are Prohibited.
- Hockey is Prohibited.
- Swimming or Wading in the Reflection Pond are Prohibited.
- Displacement or Rearranging of Park Furniture is Prohibited.
