Beginning May 2008, South Jordan residents can now sign up for automatic bill pay on your City utility account. This includes culinary water , secondary water, storm water, garbage, and recycling fees. It does not include power, sewer, phone, and other utilities, nor does it include court or business license payments.

Hard copy statements will continue to be sent out at the beginning of each month. Payments will be drawn from savings or checking accounts on the 5th or 15th of each month based on the option selected by the resident. Each resident will also have the opportunity to define a maximum amount to limit the amount that can be automatically withdrawn from their account.

Interested residents must sign up online at www.sjc.utah.gov under "Pay my utility bill" and can call City Hall for assistance at (801) 254-3742. You will need to obtain bank-routing and account numbers from one of your checks and have them readily available in order to setup your account properly.
