Monday, April 28 – Animal Shelter Donations
SJ Animal Control Building, 10882 S. Park Dr., 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Bring blankets, toys, food, kitty litter, etc. to the Animal Shelter to help the City care for the homeless animals in South Jordan. *Sponsored by the South Jordan Animal Control
Tuesday, April 29 – Community Gardening
Community Garden, 10400 S. 2200 W., 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Help prepare the Community Youth Garden where thousands of pounds of vegetables are grown for donation to local shelters and the Food Bank. Bring rakes, shovels, gloves, and your family to get involved in this exciting project. * Sponsored by the 4-H Youth Garden
Wednesday, April 30 – Scout Tree Planting
6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Thursday, May 1 – Collecting Clothing for South Valley Sanctuary
SJ Community Center, 10866 S. Redwood Rd, 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Bring gently used clothing, shoes, and new toiletry items for men, women, children and infants to the Community Center. Items will be sorted and donated to the South Valley Sanctuary, a shelter for families fleeing domestic abuse. *Sponsored by the South Jordan Senior Citizens Committee

Friday, May 2 – FREE Performance in the Park

Enjoy a special free performance by Jason Hewlett, Las Vegas entertainer and impressionist (www.celebrityimpersonator.net) and South Jordan City resident. This family friendly event is FREE for everyone who volunteers for someone, somehow in the community. Free hot dogs and drinks included. |
