During the summer months, there is a large demand on the City's water system and as a result, lower pressures are often seen. The City is in the process of fixing these pressure issues related to the culinary water system with the upcoming water project. This project will bring in new transmission lines, pump stations, and water storage tanks.
In the meantime, we are enlisting your help to conserve water and to maintain these pressures by adjusting your schedule on both culinary outdoor watering and secondary outdoor watering.
We are asking that all even numbered homes water on even calendar days and odd number homes water on odd calendar days. By doing this, the pressures should be stabilized although may be pockets of low-pressure issues.
